This past year has afforded us the opportunity to see hope in action on a global scale. It showed humanity at their compassionate best, coming together as one and selflessly adapting to a new way of living and being, without complaint, all in a bid to safeguard the welfare of their fellow human.   

It is inspiring to see the mass of humanity rising as one globally to address and alleviate the distress and hardships covid19 health measures has unleashed. Communities came together and established networks to serve their fellow human beings.  

These organic community movements sprouted globally to take care of the less fortunate. It is heartening to see how people are finding new ways to stay connected and how new rituals are established to help maintain our organic, innate interconnectedness amidst the strong measures imposed on a global scale that threaten the well-being of billions of people.  

The spirit of humanity has wakened as evidenced by the organic caring systems arising virtually overnight to address the needs of the masses left destitute, desolate and impoverished. People are showing fortitude, rallying their unbreakable spirit to ensure that we don't only move forward amidst challenging conditions but taking outmost care that our humanity stays intact.  

Groundroots movements are being established worldwide to ensure that physical, spiritual and emotional needs are addressed through developing strategies that help us maintain our well-being. These strategies are highly dependent on the help and goodwill of volunteers. Remember each one of is needed, our contributions matter.   

Therefore, use this time to cultivate the habit of connecting with local communities to help them do what is needed in order to make a difference in this world. Now is not the time to stagnate in idleness, but to seize this opportunity to do volunteer work. This will allow you to develop pride understanding and stay in a spirit of gratitude when faced with the beauty of humanity's true nature. It will empower you to no longer hide behind your social mask but instead throw it away and be unapologetically your authentic self.  

Do not allow your colours to fade during these difficult times, but do the necessary inner work to make sure you bloom in all your glory. Hope imbues you with the necessary fortitude to cultivate patience as well as the impetus to strategize how to right wrongs and to envision what is needed to birth forth a better world. So do not shrink in fear but let your inner warrior blaze forth and shine your light fearlessly to give hope to those in need in areas that need change.
