Speak your Truth

Voicing our truth, we learn from small is not acceptable and we quickly adapt to this abnormal norm. We learn that speaking our truth is deemed impolite, selfish, disrespectful and so on and so forth. You catch my drift, right?

We are conditioned to become liars for the sake of others comfort. Truth be told, it truly is not worth withholding your truth as the resulting pain and hurt it causes you, affects your mental state in the long run as it forces you to become untrue to yourself.

We are schooled in the art of deceit and sadly; this deception prevents us from being truly authentic. We hide our true personas behind a socially acceptable mask to our own detriment. Generally, the assumed personality effectively nullifies our originality until we don't recognize ourselves anymore. This is why mindset practices are so necessary to restore yourself to yourself.

Sadly, not speaking your truth means settling for less than you deserve. This attitude allows others carte blanche to disrespect you; let's get real here, they walk and wipe their feet on you as your acquiescence make you place others needs above and before your own. Self-sacrifice does not equate to being ‘good’ but is rather more akin to being foolish and delusional; for when you disregard your own truth and subsequent welfare your ‘sacrifice’ will be nullified by your resentment or expectation of reciprocity.

So beware, if you don't voice your truth you have no one but yourself to blame when people use you as a doormat. You will innately know when you have not spoken your truth because you will experience discomfort in your heartsoul.

Dare to be daring and passionate this day; speak your truth. Remember, being authentic is an attractive quality that most people admire. Listen to what your intuition is telling you as it will guide you safely and effectively through this social quagmire.

Understand that personal boundaries can only be established and maintained when you speak your truth. Release the untruths you grew up with and declare yourself worthy and deserving enough to speak your truth and remain authentic. Stop holding back pieces of yourself for fear of rejection.

Work on strengthening your emotional foundation by doing mindset practices that will help you strengthen your personal power. Remember it all goes back to how you view yourself. This will be uncomfortable and perhaps cause mini or major-dramas at the outset, but once you notice how freeing it is to voice your truth, it will get easier for you.

You will realize and understand that what they do; how they process your truth, is not your concern. You will feel lighter, brighter and more powerful because speaking your truth is truly liberating and empowering as it is a testament to the faith you have in yourself. Recognize that Truth holds no malice as it emanates from your heart space.

Truth emanating from your heartsoul always surfaces for improvements to be made and ends up being most healing for everyone concerned. However, truth can be hijacked and weaponized to cause pain intentionally; recognize that this comes from your ego not your heart and resist at all cost to indulge in such behavior.

Speaking your truth requires you to extend the same curtesy to others; you have to Hear the truth.

Truth does not equate to you speaking any gibberish that your mind generates, instead, your truth relates to your authentic self, your innate nature, not your preference for peanut butter over jam.

In order for you to speak your truth you have to do the inner work of becoming acquainted with your authentic self. This requires mindful practices such as meditation, reflection, mindfulness, prayer; any practice will do that connects you with your heartsoul allowing you to access your innate wisdom, your authentic self.

Self-love will give you the courage to Speak authentically. Life is given as an opportunity to discover our innate authentic self and everything that occurs in your life is there by design prodding and pushing you to claim this birthright. Your life challenges are not punishment but lessons designed to allow inner growth so that you can reach the breaking point where you roar,

“No More!

I. Deserve.Better.Than.This.”

Only when you love yourself will everything else fall into place.

Self-love will demand you to live and speak your truth, actualizing a higher sense of Self. This encompasses embodying self-respect, self-control, self-discipline, - which will allow your true nature to come forth. Recognize that voicing your truth is reflective of living authentically, passionately which culminates into a deeply fulfilling life. Speaking your truth is a necessity as your heartsoul will awash you with a sense of discomfort and unease whenever you fail to speak your truth. You experience inner peace when you stay true to yourself as being authentic allows you to walk by the beat of your own drum as you have the inner strength and courage to speak and live by your convictions.

When you claim your authentic nature, you will revel in the freedom to choose what brings you joy in alignment with your higher self and delight in being unapologetically authentically you, in word and deed. Remember you are here to fulfill your destiny, not your parents, partner or anyone else's destiny but your own, so speak your truth.

To live and speak your truth releases you from the shackles of other's expectations and definitions. Live your truth and own it, no excuses. Remove the social mask and embrace your personal truth, unapologetically showing the world all your colors, proudly.
