The Power of TLC

This is the ideal time to restore, renew and even reinvent yourself. Stop being a shrinking violet. Your blossoming will encourage and liberate others to follow suit. You never know who notices your blossoming. It may be someone that just needed a nudge, a confirmation, a sign.  

Be that sign for someone struggling with confidence. Your action will not only liberate you but may unlock a shockwave of possibilities for others. Seize the new day and liberate yourself from being shackled to the hubris of life events and circumstances.  

Accepting that you are solely responsible for your actions cancels apportioning blame to others for the unfolding of your life. Take time to reflect and follow the guidance of your sacred self that is aligned with the Divine. This allows you to hear and hopefully heed the guidance of your soul. Recognize that introspection is the pathway that leads to connecting with your authentic self. Know that adopting a Positive stance does not mean ignoring or avoiding the bad things, it involves making the most of situations, trying to see the best in other people, and viewing yourself and your abilities in a positive light. 

Recognize that Happiness is a state of being brought about by the decisions you make about the happenings in your life. Know that holding on to past hurts is a sure way of staying in pain. It does not mean not acknowledging the hurt, but that you should process it and then let it go. That means, removing the thorn from the happening so that it cannot cause you more pain because our mind is predisposed to zero in on past hurts. 

Realize that focusing on uplifting moments is better than dwelling on past hurts, as this just prolongs your misery unnecessarily. Let go and move on, no longer stuck in the negative loop of anger and hurt, but free to finally turn the page and start a new chapter. Give thanks to the Divine for providing the necessary people to keep you from unraveling, from becoming undone, and keeping you together when you were falling apart. 

Know for sure that Your life does not get better by chance but by choice.  Learn to change the things you can and accept the things you cannot.  Realize that the choices you make are informed by the quality of your thoughts. Learn to be fully present and engaged in the moment, aware of your feelings and thoughts. This stops you from being vulnerable to the exhausting tendency of being a slave to your emotions.  

The Divine is love and has purposely designated a plethora of loves to ensure we are always surrounded by love. It is thus important to treasure love in all its varied forms by expressing our heartfelt thanks to our loved ones regularly and acknowledging how their love nurtures and blesses us every day.

Love is a powerful force gifted by Divine grace. It cannot be demanded, commanded or bought at any price. Love is indiscriminate in its largesse, gifting it despite or in spite of laws, customs or culture forbidding such unions.    

Love is a law unto itself and however you wish or will, you cannot command it to come or go. Love heals, using its two children, Compassion and Empathy to bring together nations and diverse people as one. Love brings the Divine peace that passes all understanding. Love does not waiver from its duty of fostering our interconnectedness as human beings, and in that, it is an unstoppable force.

Do what your heart desires as it is directly connected to the Sacred. Know that Listening to your heart is allowing your soul, space to be. Recognize that Your behavior is akin to a 3D representation of your inner life revealing whether you are in a state of chaos or peace. Comprehend that your heart emotes your inner state, that’s why emotions are key to understanding what lies within, so do not block them, but welcome them as they enrich your soul journey. Know that emotions are purposed to allow you to feel and express the agonies and ecstasies of your life experiences. The key is not to be a slave to your emotions but to use it to harvest the vast and diverse richness of the human experience.  It is better and far more fortuitous to build yourself up than break yourself down.

You must set the intention to heal your emotional hurts and follow through by acknowledging them and processing them to gain the necessary understanding and clarity to finally release them. Recognize that the healing journey takes time as it necessitates a lot of little steps to be able to break free of your broken self. When you swallow your emotions, it does not disappear but merely get transmuted into mental and, or physical illness, as your suppression has circumvented the psyche's normal and natural response to overwhelming emotions, causing you to become unbalanced emotionally. Recognize that it is time to let go of resentment, as you are most frequently the only casualty of your own bitterness.  

Stop focusing on the negatives, on your own pain and anger, and realize that your negativity is affecting the quality of your life. The separation within you is caused by your emotional wounds. Regain a sense of yourself by cultivating a sense of self-accountability and responsibility, stop the blame game, and get better, not bitter. To recover and heal from your hurts you need to recognize that it is impacting you negatively in the present. Make the decision that it is time to make the necessary change for healing to occur. So, make the effort to resurface your true self, and stop carrying your pain like a security blanket as it keeps you emotionally unavailable.

The yearning to connect with your divine nature is innate and a trait that all humans share in varying capacities. Focus on nurturing your spirit by scheduling breaks to be still and go inwards to commune with the Divine. Gather the fragmented pieces of self into a harmonious whole by giving yourself the necessary self-care helps you in aligning with your truth.  

Self-care involves taking proper care of your emotional, physical, psychological, and spiritual health. Know that everything begins and ends with you. When you quieten your mind, you will hear your soul’s whispering encouragements to embrace your sacred self to embody authenticity. This requires you to incorporate self-care practices into your daily routine that will allow you to Reassess, Refocus, Realign, Readjust, and Reaffirm yourself on a continuous basis. Think of self-care as insurance for your overall well-being, protecting your happiness as it elevates your capacity to experience deep feelings of well-being, optimism, self-acceptance and compassion.  

Focus on being fully present in your every day as it imbues you with a heightened sense of awareness which allows you to harvest your intuition to be infused with a serene disposition that facilitates your ability to tap into your authentic self. This connection with your authentic self allows you to tap into the flow of life as your inner wisdom becomes more readily available to you.  Only from the ashes of who we were, can we arise to become who we are meant to be.

Don’t allow your past to dictate your future as adopting a limiting mindset shackles you to your past instead of strengthening you to go into the unknown fearlessly, harvesting wisdom from past experiences to fuel and inform your understanding of life. Know that it will be difficult to continue onward when you feel like someone has switched off the light and left you in the dark, utterly alone and bereft.  

To recover and heal from your hurts you need to recognize that you did nothing to warrant bad treatment so release any shame and walk on with your head held high knowing that another behavior, good or bad, is not a reflection of your worth and give yourself some TLC to heal your bruised soul.  

 Make the decision that it is time to make the necessary changes for healing to occur. Know that when you allow the hurt to flow through you in its entirety unrestricted it will dissipate naturally leaving you emotionally balanced.    

Dig deep to find the inner strength to release the pain and unbreak your heart. This process will help you regain your trust, faith and hope in love and life. It will help you to release the fear, anxiety, and mistrust that is crippling you emotionally. Reflection will help you to have the necessary breakthrough that awareness brings regarding the truth of the situation. This clarity will aid in your healing. Whenever you feel overwhelmed, take a moment and just focus on the exhale and inhale of your breath. Go on, you’ve got this.

Strong interdependent relationships with others are dependent on genuine emotional vulnerability. Learn to open yourself up emotionally to receive the sweet fruit of love and belonging. Explore and gain an understanding of what is lingering in your inner consciousness preventing you from emotional vulnerability. Recognize that Love forces you to step out of your comfort zone and inspires you to extend yourself for the benefit of another and inspires you to do the necessary to uplift another. When caring inspires you into Doing something to help another; it elevates your sense of well-being and fosters a degree of inner tranquility based on the beautiful love and compassion humanity holds.  

Painful experiences most often make you put up defensive barriers to protect against emotional hurts, not realizing that this very barrier also keeps out the good stuff that life holds.  

Recognize that building barriers will rob you of future joys in the long run, as this forced isolation leaves you unable to bond with others emotionally. Comprehend that emotional vulnerability is not a weakness but indeed a strength. 

Love is what elevates humanity and allows one to connect with another and is the glue that creates and binds community.
